Avinent Group, pioneer in the Medical Division (Avinent) with dental solutions and world leader in the Industrial Division (Vilardell Purtí) for the manufacture of bar turning parts, has closed a pioneering agreement with the Practical Training Center (Lacetània Foundation), an entity dedicated to training development.
The agreement, signed on December 22nd by Albert Giralt, CEO of Avinent Group, and Silvia Gratacós, President of the Lacetània Foundation, stands out for being the first initiative to mark a significant step in the collaboration of professionals in CNC (Numerical Control Turns).
Albert Giralt, CEO of Avinent Group, expressed his enthusiasm for this pioneering project:
This initiative reflects our commitment to innovation and sustainable development. We are not only training the professionals of today, but also building a bridge to future talent.
The collaboration includes ad hoc training programs, consolidating our joint commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. The commitment to training and professional development is evidence of the long-term vision of both entities in the training of highly qualified professionals in the field of numerical control.
In addition, the initiative goes beyond a simple business alliance, incorporating a comprehensive program that includes internships for students. According to data from the Human Resources Director, Eugeni Lorenzana, in 2023 Avinent Group has hosted 14 interns, resulting in the incorporation of 8 CNC operators on staff.
The collaboration between Avinent Group and CFP not only strengthens the ties between the two organizations, but also positions Avinent Group as a leading CNC company. This strategic approach provides the company with a competitive advantage, enabling the identification and retention of the best operators in this specialized field.
Silvia Gratacós, President of the Lacetània Foundation, highlighted the importance of this partnership:
We are delighted to be working with Avinent on this unique initiative. The combination of practices, training and commitment to excellence allows us to shape the future of the industry.
This collaboration represents a joint effort to anticipate market needs and promote sustainability through training and quality employment. Avinent Group and the Practical Training Center are convinced that this strategic alliance paves the way for future synergies and growth opportunities.
