On Friday 17 January AVINENT Science & Technology held its annual information day during which it took stock of the results obtained during 2019 and presented the new projects for 2020.
The corporation is experiencing a sustained period of growth and consolidating its commitment to establishing a client-centred value proposition. The two divisions, AVINENT – Medical and Vilardell Purtí – Industrial performed a transparent analysis of the situation and established a business framework entailing constant change and continuous improvement to face the coming years of adaptation that are required for an ever-changing social and economic situation.
With the year’s turnover standing at around €32m, AVINENT Science & Technology will continue underpinning innovation, quality, service and technological capacity as the key elements in always being able to offer the best products and services to its respective markets.
The year ends for AVINENT with it having managed to secure an integral proposal under the same concept with the incorporation of AVINENT CAD CAM, a company that has absorbed the Core3dcentres brand in Spain and which acts as a milling centre, capable of offering a comprehensive CAD CAM customised implant and prostheses services with quality and traceability standards that are hard to beat. The Digital Health division and its solutions for the maxillofacial sector (CMF) continue to grow and obtain positive results in the domestic and international spheres.
Vilardell Purtí continues to evolve positively and is taking on new projects in an automobile industry that is immersed in a radical transformation. Even so, a constant technological improvement strategy has allowed for some differentiating quality standards to be reached valued by large multi-nationals in the international arena. Specialisation in high added value components, 100% service and the cross-group philosophy of client-centredness all boost confidence in the period ahead, one that is filled with large projects.
During the day, presentations were made by the various departments of each division to give all those who form part of the AVINENT Science & Technology a broader perspective. Both the general manager of the group, Albert Giralt, and the director of the industrial division, Jordi Roy, sent a clear message regarding the open attitude to change that will be essential for reaching the objectives of the client and above all their satisfaction in an increasingly complex environment.
The information day was held in Món Sant Benet in Sant Fruitós de Bages on Friday 17 January 2020, and ended with a meal for everyone at the same hotel complex.
