AVINENT<\/strong> has collaborated with numerous research groups within the sector to\nexpand the number of scientific articles recently published in indexed\njournals. Most of them have seen the light in 2019 and discuss wide-ranging\nthemes such as the accuracy of different\nintraoral scanners, <\/strong>the advantages\nof customised chin surgeries thanks to 3D guides and plates<\/strong>, the benefits of combining blood plasma derived\ncompounds with Biomimetic Advanced Surfaces (BAS) <\/strong>(Patent: XXXXXX) or\nensuring that angle correction in\nmachined prostheses does not reduce their mechanical resistance. <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aforementioned studies have provided very\npositive results that complement the current literature of the medical and\ndental sector. Some of the conclusions of these studies are that a combination\nof a moderately rough surface (BAS) and autologous plasma compounds obtained\nfrom a fibrine clot with different types of formulations such as PRGF (Plasma\nRich in Growth Factors) or PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrine), increases osteoblast\ncell differentiation, generates a calcified bone matrix and optimises the osseointegration\nof titanium implants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, another study presented in the\nCMF division, introduces significant improvements in chin surgeries. The use of\nplanning software and 3D printing of surgical guides for chin surgery\nfacilitates and improves surgical techniques, providing excellent aesthetic\nresults and minimising complications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
