The team that forms the company\u2019s new line, currently focusing on <strong>cranio-maxillofacial surgery<\/strong>, has been working with <strong>17 hospitals<\/strong> or clinical centers over the past two years. The launch of the solution last November 2016 was greatly received by the press, which especially highlighted its customization possibilities and those of <strong>collaborative work between technicians and doctors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>AVINENT\u2019s innovative project is now experiencing full growth after the company presented it to more than 30 hospitals and medical institutions (more than 80 doctors already have first-hand knowledge of AVINENT Digital Health). AVINENT has already carried out work for 17 of these centers, <strong>undertaking 106 cases of bone reconstruction, 89 of which are related to cranio-maxillofacial surgery<\/strong>. Collaboration highlights include those with Hospital Vall d\u2019Hebron, Hospital Cl\u00ednic and Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol in Barcelona, Hospital Universitari Joan XXIII, in Tarragona or the integral care management service of Guadalajara in Castilla-La Mancha, among others. One of the service\u2019s most outstanding features is the work between doctors and technicians to design together the prostheses and obtain the best possible result for patients in terms of surgical facilities and final esthetic quality.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Excellent results nationally<br \/>\n<\/strong>ADH\u2019s new service and its excellent results to date have given AVINENT great renown in the medical sector. AVINENT Digital Health manager <strong>Xavier Cam\u00ed<\/strong> highlights this innovative service\u2019s excellent performance, especially at a national level: \u201cThe truth is we\u2019ve enjoyed very good acceptance and are working flat out. The doctors we\u2019ve contacted are very pleased with what we do and how we do it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Particularly important has been the <strong>partnership between AVINENT and the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Service of Hospital Vall d\u2019Hebron in Barcelona<\/strong>, with which <strong>60 maxillofacial cases have been successfully completed using the new joint virtual planning method between doctors and technicians and 3D titanium printing<\/strong>. In addition, <strong>29 of these cases were planned by taking into account the dental implants as well as customized prosthesis<\/strong>. The excellent results of this partnership and its positive impact on the health of various patients <a href=\"http:\/\/avinentexperiences.com\/en\/avinent-digital-health-presents-a-pioneering-maxillofacial-reconstruction-service-that-incorporates-implants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">led to much media interest in the project<\/a> last November, when ADH was presented at the Vall d\u2019Hebron facilities.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.avinent.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2019\/12\/fets\/foto_adh_2.jpg?1489835496071\" alt=\"\" width=\"744\" height=\"480\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Internationalization is next challenge<br \/>\n<\/strong>The reach of AVINENT Digital Health is today especially important at a Spanish level. During the last few months, however, <strong>AVINENT has presented the new service at various international congresses<\/strong> related to the fields of 3D surgery and the digital technologies applied to these types of surgeries. The <strong>International Dental Show (IDS)<\/strong>, to be held in Cologne, Germany, will soon be the stage upon which the company will present the project\u2019s new innovations to doctors from all corners of Europe. According to Xavier Cam\u00ed: \u201c<strong>Our current objective at an international level is to provide visibility to the brand<\/strong> and promote the service, which has already been very positively surprising. This is a necessary first step in order to start operating within this framework more fluently at a later date.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There were outstanding audience numbers at major conferences throughout 2016, such as the European Association for Maxillo-Facial Surgery (EACMFS 2016), held in London (UK), and the Materialise Mimics Innovation Conference 2016, which took place in Leuven (Belgium). As regards Spain, AVINENT recently presented the new service at the 25th Congress of the Societat Catalano-Balear de Cirurgia Maxil\u00b7lofacial i Oral.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New digital future dimension<br \/>\n<\/strong>AVINENT Digital Health is a new service <a href=\"http:\/\/digital-health.avinent.com\/eng\/default.cfm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">with an extensive catalog<\/a> of fully customized solutions aimed at helping medical professionals improve the quality of life of patients.
