Pioneering procedures worldwide
Along with additive manufacturing technology across various materials and methods, the integration of new, globally pioneering digital equipment allows Avinent CMF to provide professionals with a wide range of possibilities to tackle any challenge.
MEDICAL
PEEK
Polyether ether ketone
A highly resistant, thermoset polymer that is highly malleable. Its physical characteristics make it comparable to human bone. It is the most widely used material in orthopaedics.
TITANIUM
A highly durable and versatile option. Titanium provides numerous benefits in specific cases where mechanical protective functions are essential, offering excellent properties for osseointegration.
ACRYLIC
Methyl methacrylate
A biocompatible and cost-effective material with a wide range of applications. Its neutral colour offers exceptional aesthetic and functional flexibility.
POLYAMIDE
Synthetic polymer
It offers exceptional mechanical properties, is sterilisable, and features excellent durability, along with outstanding sliding capabilities and wear resistance.
Diverse materials
Tailored to meet the needs of complex maxillofacial reconstructions
3D printing technologies
All procedures
STEREOLITHOGRAPHY (SLA)
Laser-cured resin. Creation of solid objects through the printing of a photopolymerisable material using ultraviolet light.
MATERIAL JETTING
Liquid resin cured with ultraviolet light. This process is designed to provide labs with the best dental models in the fastest way possible, thanks to its injection system that ensures superior precision and quality.
DIRECT METAL LASER SINTERING (DMLS)
An additive manufacturing technology that allows the use of a wide range of alloys, constructing components layer by layer. Possibility of producing durable and resistant parts.
SELECTIVE LASER SINTERING (SLS)
Selective laser sintering. Parts are created through a process of powder sintering at selected points, causing the nylon or polyamide powder particles to fuse and solidify. This thermoset material allows for sterilisation.
MULTI JET FUSION (MJF)
A 3D printing process developed by HP that uses inkjet technology. One of the most advanced additive technologies, it applies heat and separates solid from non-solid parts, achieving high precision to produce high-quality parts.
